Avaliação do emprego de nanotecnologias no setor têxtil brasileiro por meio de documentos de patentes

Abstract

A nanotecnologia consiste em um importante segmento do setor têxtil, pois dá novas características a fibras, fios e tecidos, além de ser um mercado significativo e crescente. Aplicada ao setor têxtil se divide em: as nano-fibras e fibras contendo nano partículas, e, acabamento/ revestimentos contendo nano substâncias. Permitindo a produção de materiais com funções especiais, tais como: bacteriana, de fácil limpeza, repelentes a água/insetos e anti-odor. Destacam-se os nano-tubos de carbono (CNT) que são utilizados para incrementar fibras. Com a finalidade de avaliar as tecnologias envolvidas neste cenário, foram utilizados os dados dos documentos patentários extraídos da base PatBase® (Minesoft®) depositados entre 1997 e 2007, com Classificação Internacional de Patentes (IPC) do setor têxtil; e, que contenham a palavra “nano” no título/resumo.

Nanotechnology is an important segment of the textile industry, as it allows new characteristics to fibers, yarns and fabrics, and is a significant and growing market. It applied to the textile sector is divided into: the nano-fibers and fibers containing nano particles, and finishing and coatings containing nano substances. Allowing the production of materials with special functions, such as, anti-bacterial, UV protection, easy cleaning, water repellent, insect repellent and anti-odor. To point out the carbon nanotubes (CNT) those are used to increase fiber. In order to evaluate the technologies involved in this scenario, we used data of patent documents extracted from PatBase® (Minesoft®) filed between 1997 and 2007, International Patent Classification (IPC) of the textile sector, and, which contains the word “nano” in the title or abstract.
