Análise bibliométrica da produção científica do conceito de capital intelectual (1980-2012)

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é conduzir uma análise de revisão de literatura sobre capital intelectual investigando a produtividade e conduzindo a análise de citações, pesquisadores do período de 1980 a 2012. Foi empregado como instrumento de intervenção o processo para revisão bibliográfica, denominado ProKnow-C (Knowledge Development Process – Constructivist), proposto por Ensslin et al. (2010). Este artigo analisa a literatura identificando a evolução do tema sobre capital intelectual, os periódicos relevantes, as palavras-chave e os autores relevantes. Os instrumentos de coletas utilizados foram os softwares EndNote X5 e o Science of Science (Sci2 ) Tool. O processo de construção do portfólio possibilitou realizar uma análise de 2.260 artigos, culminando com um portfólio final de 674 artigos alinhados com o tema. Na análise bibliométrica foi evidenciada que os principais periódicos que abordam e publicam sobre o tema em questão foram: Journal of Intellectual Capital, com 134 artigos. Quanto às palavras-chave, a que mais se destacou nesta pesquisa foi a própria Intelectual Capital, aparecendo com 400 repetições. Os autores que mais se destacaram nesta pesquisa foram Bontis, N.; Roos, G.; Edvinsson, L.; Johson, W. H. A.; Stewart, T. A.; Chen, Y. S.; com trabalhos sobre capital intelectual, ativos intangíveis e capital intelectual green. Na classificação de relevância acadêmica realizada sob a ótica de número de citações dos artigos selecionados no portfólio, o trabalho que mais se destacou foi de NAHAPIET, J., com o trabalho “Social capital, intellectual capital, and the organizational advantage”, obtendo 7055 citações. Desta forma, diante da importância no desenvolvimento de pesquisas acadêmicas em torno do capital intelectual, o objetivo desta análise se centrou em apresentar a situação atual da literatura.

The purpose of this article is to conduct an analysis of intellectual capital literature review investigating the productivity and driving citations analysis, researchers at the 1980 period to 2012. It was employed as an instrument of intervention the process for review, called ProKnow-C (Knowledge Development Process-Constructivist), proposed by Ensslin et al. (2010). This article examines the literature identifying the evolution of the theme of intellectual capital, the relevant journals, keywords and relevant authors. Collection instruments used were the EndNote X 5 software and the Science of Science (Sci2) Tool. The portfolio construction process made it possible to carry out an analysis of 2.260 articles, culminating with a final portfolio of 674 articles in line with the theme. In bibliometric analysis was evident that the major journals that discuss and publish on the topic in question were: Journal of Intellectual Capital, with 134 articles. As for keywords, the one that stood out in this research was to own Intellectual Capital, appearing with 400 repetitions. The authors who stood out in this research were Bontis, N., Roos, G., Edvinsson, L., Johnson, W. H. A., Stewart, T. A., Chen, Y. S., with work on intellectual capital, intangible assets and intellectual capital green. In the classification of academic relevance performed from the perspective of the number of citations of articles selected in the portfolio, the work that stood out was Nahapiet, J., with the work "Social capital, intellectual capital, and the organizational advantage" by getting 7055 quotes. In this way, on the importance in the development of academic research around the intellectual capital, the goal of this analysis was to present the current situation of literature.
