Mapeamento das tecnologias do setor têxtil por meio de documentos patentários

Abstract

O setor têxtil é amplo e composto por várias etapas produtivas inter-relacionadas, possuindo diferentes padrões tecnológicos e competitivos para cada segmento. Este artigo objetiva descrever a evolução temporal dos documentos patentários referente ao setor têxtil no período analisado - 2006 a 2011 depositados no mundo. A metodologia deste trabalho utiliza a análise dos documentos patentários extraídos da base PatBase® (Minesoft®). As principais áreas encontradas foram: (I) tratamento têxtil e lavanderia; (II) tratamento de têxteis com compostos químicos combinado com tratamento mecânico; (III) linhas ou fibras, não naturais, sobretudo, (a) características químicas de sua manufatura; aparelhos especialmente adaptados para a manufatura de filamentos de carbono; (b) tratamento preliminar das fibras; (c) métodos ou aparelhos mecânicos para a manufatura destes; e, (d) fiação ou torção; (IV) não tecidos; e, (V) malharia.

The textile industry broad and consists of several interrelated productive steps, having different technological and competitive patterns for each segment. This article aims to describe the time evolution of patent applications for the textile industry in the analyzed period - 2006 to 2011 all over the world. The study methodology uses the analysis of patent documents extracted from the PatBase ® (Minesoft ®). The main areas were: (I) laundering; (II) treating fibers, threads, yarns, fabrics or articles based on these materials with chemical substances combined with mechanical treatment; (III) threads or fibers, not natural, primarily, (a) the chemical characteristics of its manufacture; apparatus specially adapted for the manufacture of carbon filaments, (b) preliminary treatment of fibers (c) or mechanical methods for the manufacture of these, and (d) spinning or twisting, (IV) nonwovens fabrics; and (V) knitting.
